This year, our continued passion for period architecture has led to an extraordinary collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces – a prestigious partnership celebrating some of Britain’s most iconic residences. Unveiled in the majestic setting of Kensington Palace, State Apartments, The Palaces Collection is a range of switches and sockets inspired by the opulence, artistry and heritage of royal interiors.
This special collaboration has granted us rare access to the historic sites under the care of Historic Royal Palaces, as well as the exquisite private home of Wolterton Hall in Norfolk. This Palladian masterpiece sets the stage for our Palaces Collection, offering the perfect harmony of timeless interiors - rich in story and quiet elegance - that this unique collection so beautifully encapsulates.

Built between 1727 and 1742 for Horatio Walpole by the architect Thomas Ripley, Wolterton Hall has been sympathetically restored to its former glory by Keith Day and Peter Sheppard and boasts six state rooms and 12 bedrooms. The estate has strong historical ties to British aristocracy, particularly through Horatio Walpole, 1st Baron Walpole of Wolterton, who was the brother of Sir Robert Walpole, Britain’s first Prime Minister. The Hall has hosted many prominent figures over the centuries, and it houses many portraits of the royal family, including one of King George I, which was gifted to Horatio Walpole.
Marrying elegant aesthetics and innovative technology, the panel-mounted plates are a faithful representation of original hardware and finishes found in the palaces. Handcrafted from solid brass and sitting flush to the wall, they are traditional in style but backed by cutting-edge functionality.
The state-of-the-art magnetic plate system dramatically simplifies installation whilst creating a truly flawless and screwless finish. Available in three stunning finishes – Natural Brass, Aged Brass and Heritage Bronze - the collection is set to evolve further with additional finishes, toggle designs and lighting. Our Bespoke Engraving service offers a further mark of distinction.
