We are thrilled to continue our partnership with bespoke luxury sofa brand George Smith, helping them create the stunning Christmas window in their flagship King’s Road showroom. Those who visited our stand at Decorex will recognise their fabulous Conversation Piece, now illuminated by our bespoke Acanthus chandelier in this beautiful festive scene. Created in collaboration with Cornish ceramicist Funda Eroysal of Studio Agni, this stunning installation has Christmas all wrapped up.

The story behind the Acanthus Chandelier

  • The exquisite Cornish clay shades, handmade by Funda Eroysal

Drawing inspiration from the acanthus leaves of the iconic Tijou gates at Hampton Court Palace, we have worked with Funda Eroysal to create this bespoke chandelier, each ceramic shade is hand-thrown in Cornish clay and delicately detailed with acanthus motifs. 

This special piece forms part of Soho Lighting’s ongoing collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, which pays homage to the artistry and heritage of royal interiors. Each design is timeless, storied and a celebration of the beauty of the past, reimagined.
