Inspired by the timeless elegance of Historic Royal Palaces, the 20A 2-Way & Off Retractive TM-Grid Toggle Switch Module is an elegant brass switch designed to complement our Palaces Collection plates.

The Palaces Collection draws inspiration from the architecture, interiors and gardens of Historic Royal Palaces. Each design element extracts the essence of a pattern, artefact or original finish, capturing the character of these exquisite homes. Crafted from 4mm solid brass, the collection embodies elegance backed by state-of-the-art technology.

A two-way and off retractive switch offers a simple and intuitive way to control motorised appliances such as electric blinds, windows, or garage doors.

Designed with a spring-return mechanism, the module always returns to its central “off” position when released. Pushing the module into its up position will activate the connected appliance in one direction for example, raising blinds or opening a window. Releasing the module immediately stops the movement. Pressing the module into its down position operates the appliance in the opposite direction, such as lowering blinds or closing a door, again stopping as soon as the module is released.

This momentary control makes retractive switch modules an ideal solution for applications where precise, hold-to-operate functionality is required, giving you full control over movement without fixed on/off positions.

Please note, this toggle module is only compatible with TM grid plates from The Palaces Collection and not with any other grid plate from the Soho Lighting switch and socket range. This allows the building of an extensive range of custom plates to fulfil almost every conceivable lighting or isolation switch requirement for your project.
